Oracle ERP/EPM Principal Solution Engineer in ZAGREB, Croatia

Job Description

A position as Solution Engineer in Adriatic Region, bears the primary responsibility to support the sales team across the region to drive sales to success by providing product expertise and business acumen for selling Oracle SaaS Applications: Enterprise Resource Planning & Performance Management (ERP & EPM) solutions in complex sales cycles. We are looking for an energetic, creative individual with passion and enthusiasm who will engage with our customers and prospects and guide them in their journey to Cloud, within the Oracle ECEMEA Client Engagement team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on end-to-end Financial & Enterprise Performance Management processes and best practices , ensuring customers adopt industry-leading methodologies.

  • Provide technical / functional support for Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning & Performance Management solutions (Oracle Financials, Procurement, Oracle EPM Planning & Budgeting - Financial Management and Reporting Cloud Services) during customer engagements to drive customer success.

  • Develop and deliver high quality presentations and product demonstrations for Oracle Cloud Applications in all stages of the sales cycle.

  • Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product direction and overall positioning for Oracle SaaS solutions.

  • Effectively communicate the Oracle product strategy and plans and increase mind share within the partner community.

  • Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business successfully in a heavily matrixes organization.

Accountabilities

• Demonstrate the credibility of Oracle's products and solutions, at all levels, but with a particular focus on executives and other key decision makers in the customers' organization

• Actively maintain in depth product knowledge in the designated product areas

• Run workshops for partners and represent Oracle at marketing events

• Stay updated on emerging trends in ERP/EPM, financial management, analytics, and cloud technologies to drive continuous innovation.

• Evangelize to customers and partners value propositions for Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning & Performance Management Cloud Solutions

• Ability to travel for day trips and some overnight trips within CEE and exceptionally across the ECEMEA region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------s or Master’s degree in information systems , Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end Financial & Enterprise Performance Management processes and best practices.

  • Deep understanding of the ERP/EPM solutions space; experience with SaaS solutions is an advantage.

  • Knowledge in leading ERP and EPM cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM

or competitive products is expected.

  • Ability to easily understand customer requirements and to position a solution to meet the key needs of customers is a key differentiator

  • Ability to easily provide presentations and/or product demonstrations to user and/or senior level audiences.

  • Industry-specific experience in ERP/EPM (e.g. Financial Services, Communications, Retail, Utilities, … ) is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English is expected since you will be working with customers and partners across Central Eastern Europe; additional language skills from the CEE region is an advantage.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities are expected.

  • Good understanding of, and passion for, digital and emerging trends in ERP/EPM like Gen AI, Machine learning, IoT technologies etc.

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills.

  • Likes to travel and engage with the field and C-level customers.

Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
