Summary:

Responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees through planning, implementation and management of employee training and development programs. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable employee training solutions. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Fosters a culture of continuous learning and development with the organization

Responsibilities:

Level I:

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify training and development needs of employees.

  • Schedule and coordinate logistics for training sessions.

  • Communicate training schedules and details to employees.

  • Prepare training materials and maintain training records and databases.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Safety and Security personnel, and department supervisors and managers to determine specific training requirements.

Level II:

  • Design and develop training programs, materials, and workshops.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with management and engineering to improve training processes.

Level III:

  • Identify emerging training needs and propose new initiatives.

  • Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Develop and implement training strategies and programs that align with the company's objectives.

  • Prepare detailed reports on training activities, outcomes, and ROI.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain the company's Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Provide administrative support to training teams, including handling inquiries and managing training calendars.

  • Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training content.

  • Compile and prepare training reports.

  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Conduct training and development needs assessments.

  • Develop training and development programs and objectives.

  • Obtain and/or develop effective training materials using a variety of media.

  • Train and coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.

  • Plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for employee development and training events.

  • Develop and maintain organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.

  • Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

  • Modify programs as needed.

  • Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.

  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Ability to interpret instructions both written and oral.

  • Ability to work in a team with co-workers to resolve work issues.

  • Effective communication skills in English.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in developing employee training programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
