CLASS CODE 999312 SALARY $574886.00 - $854799.00 ANNUALLY ESTABLISHED DATE OCTOBER 314 2023 REVISION DATE OCTOBER 314 2023 Summary Of Position The Electrical and Computer Engineering Program in Rayen School of Engineering at YSU seeks a tenure-track faculty member who will teach Electrical and Computer Engineering courses, establish an externally funded research program, and contribute to the intellectual environment through service. Candidates should exhibit the ability to: contribute through teaching, scholarship, and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community; to apply evidence-based teaching practices to engineering coursework and contribute to the department's strategic focus on trusted microelectronics and related graduate programs. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday4 including some evenings4 and the possibility of some weekend days. Qualifications and Competencies Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None Minimum Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field by the time of appointment. Exceptional ABD candidates may apply and be considered with a letter of support from their dissertation chair attesting that all degree requirements, other than the dissertation defense, have been completed. Candidates must have achieved and supply documentation of the Ph.D. at the time of appointment. Preferred Qualifications: All areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered, but preference will be given to applicants who have experience in the areas of VLSI, microelectronics, computer hardware, microwave/RF engineering, and autonomous digital control with emphasis on microelectronic chip design and hardware security. Demonstrated experience and excellence in teaching, advising, recruiting, mentoring, and service. Established record of scholarly activity, such as publications, grants, or presentations.:
