About the role / Segment

  • We are seeking a motivated, responsible and qualified Engineer to join our IC Design Solutions R&D Team in Yerevan, Armenia.

Area of responsibility

  • The incumbent will prepare and analyze / interpret results on various test cases.

  • Work in collaboration with R&D, PE/AE team to find solutions to found issues.

  • Understand modeling approach (including gridding methods) and come up with possible improvements recommendations.

  • Depending on this person background, responsibilities might include

  • Suggest improvements in modeling methods

  • In modeling thermal/mechanical properties of composite materials

  • In domain gridding (meshing) methodologies for numerical analysis

Your qualifications

  • MS+ in Physics/Math/CS or related

  • Familiarity with thermal and/or mechanical analysis , related numerical methods

  • Knowledge of algorithms like finite element/volume method is desired

  • Good knowledge of English is required to collaborate with colleagues overseas

  • Familiarity with simulation software (Siemens tools – Flotherm, FloEFD, … or others – ANSYS, COMSOL, …) is a plus

  • Familiarity with scripting languages desired
