LifePoint Health Physician Assistant - Gastro in Wytheville, Virginia
Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.
Reports to: Director of Physician Practices
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Must possess Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration prior to the first day of seeing patients.
Required Certifications/Licenses [/Virginia, United States/] /Physician Assistant/ and in good standing with the Board of Health Professions.
Certifications: □ Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Minimum Work Experience Prefer previous experience in a clinic setting.
Previous experience with Athena and Meditech is strongly preferred.
