POSITION SUMMARY The Materials Lead- Kitting will lead the kitting team in assembling kits for production with the in-house inventory. They will be responsible for planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to production and company needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Responsible for research and training the team in cycle count, reconciliations, and BoM. Oversees kitting and scheduling process to ensure kits are delivered to production on time. Fills in for other warehouse employees when they are not available. Train employees in standard department functions. Answers any questions from employees. And communicates and concerns with the supervisor. Ability to perform supervisor tasks in the absence of the supervisor. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members. Tools to be utilized: Hand tools, power tools, Sawzall, drill, hammer, prybar, bander- metal/cloth, and ratchet straps.
