Develop, create, and modify ERP applications software or specialized utility programs; analyze user needs and develop software solutions; design software or customize software to optimize operational efficiency; and provide technical leadership for projects; develop programs or scripts according to specifications and established coding standards; develop interfaces using SAP PO, SAP CPI, S/4 HANA and SAP ERP tools to fulfill the organization's technical requirements; analyze current development processes to determine if the process is alignment with organizational quality and efficiency standards; analyze, reviews and tests for accuracy and optimal implementation of developed solutions; conduct Unit-Testing to determine if the developed code is doing what it was intended to do; conduct Peer reviews and improve the code and architecture of interfaces; analyze current business systems, determines scope and estimates for tasks related to issues to be resolved; determine the number of hours required to produce new product; complete Requirement Analysis to Determine if new systems are going to impact current and legacy systems; perform integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and optimal performance; conduct Unit Testing with SAP ERP Tools; conduct Automated Testing (Selenium); conduct Manual Testing through User Interface Analysis; construct various software components and validates completeness and quality; analyze developed code for completeness and accuracy; may coordinate development efforts, and coordinate and assist with code reviews; facilitate peer code reviews; establish and enforce coding standards for programs or scripts; analyze previous code reviews to determine areas where additional standards and attention are needed; mentor Associate or Intermediate software engineers; teach Intermediate and Associate Software Engineers how to use SAP tool-set; review code review results; analyze and resolve program/script or system failures; utilize continuous integration tools (SAP PO, S/4 HANA, SAP ABAP) to determine if coding scripts are going to be successful; facilitate formal code reviews for programs/scripts; utilize SAP Framework to review coding programs and scripts to ensure the accuracy; perform software system maintenance, support and requirement analysis; maintenance - Process Improvement; fine-tune previous coding scripts; assist in designing GUI and software components; and create mapping and architectural plans for Graphical User Interfaces. Reports to HQ in Wyoming, MI, but may telecommute from anywhere.
