Prepare project fee estimates, specifications, budgets, schedules, and invoices; manage project budgets and schedules; manage structural engineering design and plan production; lead, guide, and assist with design as needed; oversee employee training, goal development, standard designs, details and procedures development; interface with project design team contractors, architects and engineers to develop design, obtain approval of design, resolve issues and maintain schedules; analyze specifications, contract documents and drawings, governing codes and standards, and other data to design projects; use computer assisted engineering, design, and detailing software to prepare engineering and design documents; prepare structural design, analysis calculations and drawings for submittal packages of TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS; work in collaboration with and provide engineering design information to the CAD drafting department; provide QA/QC review; troubleshoot technical issues and provide viable solutions and repair details on assigned projects; handle routine contract administration; and assist with streamlining and enhancing current engineering practices for the company.
