Accounts Payable (AP)department is maintaining strong relationships between the business and vendors. AP department is responsible for the timely and correct processing of particular accounting transactions according to corporate documentation.
About the Role:
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will work with our accounting team to ensure our organization’s spending's are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. You will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed. You will play a key role in delivering the services and standardization, as well as improvements of the AP processes, supporting respective Team Leader of Accounts Payable Section. You will also be involved in liaising with suppliers and the supply chain department in order to maintain a business relationship and ensure smooth deliveries to the production department.
What are your responsibilities:
Timely and accurate processing electronic payments according to payment schedule and ad hoc manual payments
Reconciling of bank statements and bank account transactions
Verifying and booking financial transactions, preparing analysis of accounts
Daily monitoring and forecasting cash balances
Performing month end closing activities
Maintaining the treasury management tools
Producing ad-hoc analysis
Keeping daily, weekly, monthly KPI’s updated.
What makes you a good fit for this role?
Higher education, preferably in Accounting/Finance
Good knowledge of English
2-3 years’ experience as an Accountant
Accuracy
Precision and ability to work with figures
Ability to process of large amounts of information.
