Position Summary

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Senior Data Scientist to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: use statistical analyses to evaluate scenarios and make predictions on future outcomes to solve complex business problems and support decision making; develop, validate, and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions; explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms; perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses; develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs; organize, collect, and standardize data visualization techniques to communicate analytical results, generate insights, address reporting results, and support business decisions; evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data; work on existing data and recommend additional sources of data for improvements; and document projects, including business objectives, data gathering and processing, and detailed set of results and analytical metrics. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and completion of graduate-level coursework, research project, or internships in each of the following: data analytics for clinical trials and healthcare research; data extraction and transformation for electronic health records (EHR); long short-term memory (LSTM) and DeepSury neural network modeling; statistical analysis including regression, correlation, time series, and decision trees; data visualization with Tableau, Matplotlib, and Seaborn; programming in PySpark, Numby, Pandas, Tensorflow, Python, R, and Keras; Big Data technologies including AWS, Spark, and Azure; Git version control system; and SQL Server.

Pay Range: $98,717.00/year to $196,000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
