Anticipated period of employment: 04/07/2025 to 11/11/2025

All applicants must have at least 3 months experience hand harvesting a perishable crop. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Must be able to work in the hot humid weather for extended periods of time. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Workers are subject to random drug testing at no cost to the employee. All drug testing will occur after the worker begins his or her employment and is not a part of the interview process.

Plant and harvest fruit & vegetables (peppers, asparagus, squash (green & yellow, butternut), cucumbers, tomatoes, melons (watermelons, cantaloupes), peaches, apples, sweet corn). Use hand tools such as shovels, waterwheels and baskets. Harvesting, transporting from fields and packing the crops. Lay drip tape and plastic and pick up at end of season. Manually plant & weed. Maintain crops by staking, tying, & pruning. All post-harvest handling. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Monday-Friday. Start/end times may vary. Days of week worked will vary Monday-Sunday, rotating schedule. Schedule varies per weather conditions and conditions of the crop/harvesting. No experience required, employer will train. Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the ETA 790/790A interviews either email or by telephone will be conducted by the employer during the hours of 8am and 3pm,Monday through Friday.
