Regular Job Functions
Experience with eCW (eclinical works) PREFERRED
Answers appointment scheduling line and schedules patient appointments in a timely manner per established protocols.
Answer calls in a high volume, busy medical call center.
Obtain and enter accurate demographic and all relevant appointment information into eCW EMR (date of birth, name, telephone number, insurance information, reason for visit, etc.)
Schedule appointments accurately and follow appropriate guidelines and templates
Responds to patient questions and needs by editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
Taking messages such as medication refill requests, pain diaries, post-operative concerns, scheduling requests for surgeries, procedures, injections, imaging etc
Maintain a working knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance, workers comp and Health Insurance Marketplace Plans
