Job Title: Superintendent of Construction

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent of Construction to lead and manage daily operations for our field crews. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in 3D coordination, handling RFIs, and managing change orders, ensuring the successful installation of all piping systems while strictly adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outline and manage daily tasks and responsibilities for field crews.

  • Assist with 3D coordination, RFIs, and change orders.

  • Oversee and review the installation of all piping systems.

  • Lead field crews, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

  • Coordinate effectively with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, riser plans, and assist with layout processes.

  • Lay out sleeves on decks and mark up as-built drawings.

  • Document field activities and maintain accurate records.

  • Participate in coordination and safety meetings.

  • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and review daily reports.

  • Implement and enforce safety standards.

  • Track material deliveries to ensure timely arrival.

  • Assist in the startup and commissioning of all systems.

  • Manage a team of 10-15 personnel.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.

  • Proven experience with high-rise and mid-rise residential or commercial office spaces.

  • Expertise in piping systems such as condenser water, steam, or refrigerant.

  • Proficiency in Construction Management software, including Procore and MS Office.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 10-15 people.

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.

  • Experience handling construction documents such as RFIs, change orders, and submittals.

  • Must hold SST 62 Hour certification.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Navisworks or Bluebeam is a plus.

Work Environment: This role involves spending 80% of the time on-site and 20% in the office, assisting with construction documents and drawings/blueprints. Our company is a leader in the HVAC industry, with a stable backlog of work and multiple projects set to kick off in the foreseeable future. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.30/hr.
