BMW Of North America Intern, Emission Certification & Compliance Engineer - Summer 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey
This is a full-time internship position for our Summer Rotation, from June 2, 2025 through August 22, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
This Intern will work alongside BMW Emission Certification & Compliance Engineers on vehicle homologation and compliance reporting topics.
WHAT AWAITS YOU:
Assist the supervising engineer with various fleet compliance reporting tasks.
Develop improvements to the current data analysis processes used by the team in their respective subject areas.
Work with team members to learn more about certification and compliance responsibilities.
Competitive benchmarking of other OEM certification documents and publicly available data to update a report on battery electric vehicle insights for model year 2024 - 2025.
Improvement projects to implement/update Macros in existing certification staff files.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior
Field of study: Engineering
Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80
