Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team based in Winter Park, Florida. The role involves handling critical accounting tasks such as month-end closing, AP, AR, and journal entry preparation. The position also includes rectifying delayed reconciliations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire process of month-end close efficiently.

• Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks.

• Prepare journal entries with a high level of precision.

• Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions.

• Ensure all bank reconciliations are performed accurately.

• Maintain the General Ledger accurately and update it regularly.

• Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

• Rectify any delayed reconciliations promptly. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Strong understanding of General Ledger management

• Able to accurately process Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experienced in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
