Reporting to the Global Controller - Interiors Spares & MAU, this role is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for Winston-Salem Aftermarket. This entity is an integral part of the Interior Services and Support (ISS) portfolio and contains an MRO selling direct to external customers, an intercompany supplier, and the primary cost center for the US based costs of ISS. This is an opportunity to join an expanding business and to lead and continue the development of the local finance team in a dynamic environment.

This is a hybrid role in Winston-Salem, NC.

Current expectations would be to work onsite 3 days per week. However, the amount of onsite days per week could fluctuate and is flexible depending on business needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and develop the finance team (2-3 people) located in Winston-Salem, NC

  • Responsible for financial reporting, including the completion and review of actual, budget and forecast information for the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow

  • Responsible for month end close processes and accounting reviews including balance sheet reconciliations

  • Review production variances and hep to drive operational improvement through root cause analysis

  • Ownership of financial aspects of ERP system integrity

  • Involvement in managing the relationship & resolving issues with Financial Shared Services

  • Responsible for documenting and auditing the control environment for Global Aftermarket; partner with operations and other functions to walk processes, identify control gaps, and propose / implement measures for improvement

  • Works closely with functional leads to ensure that US-based ISS costs, including headcount, are appropriately forecast

  • Partner with local site leadership to provide finance input into all matters

  • Support continuous improvement (CI) activities in the finance function and across the wider business

  • Other ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

  • HFM or OneStream

  • Accounting/Finance education

  • P&L Management or Financial Planning Experience

  • MS Excel

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
