Kelly Science has an opening for an Associate Scientist I/II with a growing biotechnology client in the Miami FL metro area. This is a a great opportunity to join an organization using cutting edge technology to provide treatments to those in need.

Salary: $60,000-$80,000/year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory tasks, including analyzing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products for quality, safety, purity, strength, and identity according to established methods and regulatory guidelines.

• Set up and operate laboratory equipment, prepare reagents, solvents, and solutions, and maintain accurate records of all tests performed.

• Process analytical data using various laboratory instruments like HPLC/UPLC, and perform routine calculations.

• Assist in the manufacture of inhalation drug products and prepare samples for blend uniformity testing.

• Collaborate with project teams to support timelines and objectives, and maintain effective relationships with team members.

• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and corporate guidelines and policies.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related fields with 0-2 years of experience.

• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with analytical and/or process equipment used in laboratories, such as HPLC, IR/FTIR, UV-Vis AA, and powder blender.

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
