TLD- America Key Account/ Sales Manager in Windsor, Connecticut

The Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Service and work to maintain and expand business within assigned customer accounts. This is a highly visible role within the company, and the ideal candidate will have the chance to join a global organization that has grown its sales revenue and overall team significantly over the last few years. TLD has a customer-focused, supportive sales culture. The candidate will enjoy the opportunity to travel and sell to some of the most recognizable aviation & aerospace partners in North America. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage key accounts, and remain involved with the customer, from commissioning the equipment through service issues, seeking to expand business relationships, and introducing new products wherever possible * Develop a strong understanding of the TLD products and services offered by the company, and develop strong relationships with your customers to serve them better * Develop a strong knowledge of the key competitors and a strong understanding of the Ground Support Equipment industry to better capture sales opportunities * Participate in regional and International sales meetings to give the leadership team an accurate understanding of your business and to learn from other global and local peers * Utilize TLD developed tools to generate quotes and reports for supporting customer management * Additional assignments as designated by the leadership team QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Bachelor's Degree required, with technical aptitude a plus and or an engineering background * Must have a demonstrated track record of sales management and 5+ years of relevant work experience * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel management * Must be a relationship builder with the ability to be immediately credible with, and accepted by, key customers * Must be a self-starter who can work independently, is driven by personal goals, and is accessible to customers and leadership a like * Must be able to work autonomously, reliably, and accurately * Able to travel overnight 50+%, including some international travel * Must be a team player who can be productive in a supportive sales culture where common sense and follow-through is valued, as well as collaborating on proposals along with other team members * Program and project management experience * Prior Military Aviation experience and or knowledge of Ground Support Equipment If you believe you need a reasonable accommodation in order to search for a job opening or to submit an application, please contact us at jobs.help@tld-america.com.
