Job Description:
This Technician position will be conducting topographic, GPS, construction, and other survey work as part of a field crew. This position serves as a member of the Maine DOT Property Office based out of Region 3 in Wilton, Maine.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;
Maintenance and calibration of survey equipment and vehicles,
Perform editing tasks associated with research and data entry in Realty Management System (RMS),
Process survey data, and
Act as the survey crew chief on an as-needed basis.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Five (5) years of experience in engineering –OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.
Applicants with prior survey experience will be given preference for this position.
