Baseline Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a university Masters or PhD student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Authorized to work in the United States

Tessent Memory Technology R&D Intern
As an intern in the Tessent Memory Test team, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Tessent Memory Self-Test, Repair, and Analysis solutions.
You will work side-by-side with senior software developers and technology experts, at the intersection between electrical engineering and computer science. We seek an intern that has a good understanding of memory technology to work with us on creating solutions to leading-edge technology problems, as well as good software engineering skills to implement such solutions in software.
This team is part of the Tessent division, a market and technology leader of electronic design automation (EDA) software products and on-chip instrumentation for semiconductor design-for-test (DFT), yield analysis, silicon validation, and silicon lifecycle management (SLM).
Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Tessent Memory Test product at the leading edge of technology
Develop testcases and experiments using C++, Tcl, and/or Python
You will collaborate with a world-wide group of hardware and software development, quality assurance, technical publications, marketing, and field applications engineers.
You will provide technical feedback to the development team
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
Understanding of memory or logic design, experience with Verilog
Experience with Spice or analog/mixed-signal languages and tools is a large plus
Solid knowledge of a scripting language like Python or Tcl, and/or C+
- Experience working in a Linux environment
Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently
Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
