Job Description

The Pharma Solutions business will be taking on its next chapter of growth as a trusted partner for the pharmaceutical industry with the announcement to sell Pharma Solutions to Roquette. This move will position Pharma Solutions to expand its industry leadership through continued investment in innovation to meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and developers worldwide.

The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Pharma Solutions business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to Roquette. Job Summary:

It’s an exciting time to join the Information Technology Team. As the IT Manufacturing Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals who provide technical support, maintenance, and development of SAP solutions, and other supporting applications for our manufacturing operations. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and other IT teams to ensure the alignment of SAP solutions with the business needs and strategic goals.

This role outlines the key responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements for the IT Manufacturing Lead position. Candidates who possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement will excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns project portfolio and drives alignment across the businesses mapping requirements to delivered solutions in the Manufacturing landscape.

  • Ability to manage and deliver user requirements, design specifications, system configurations, and test plans.

  • Drive the design and delivery of new and/or improved systems functionality.

  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process improvements and estimate benefits to ensure standardization, simplification, and integration.

  • Drive efforts to refine business process improvements and the innovative use of integrated systems.

  • Champion in governance, alignment, and communication of Best Practice.

  • The Manufacturing Lead will partner with Operations, Program Management, Quality and other SAP functional areas.

  • This position is accountable for a defined section of manufacturing for providing technical support and Process Engineering to assure business objectives are met or exceeded in the areas of Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost and Environment initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field

  • At least 7 years of experience in similar role

  • Experience in SAP Manufacturing, PM & integrated modules

  • Preferred experience in S/4 HANA

  • Knowledge of supporting applications (MES, Aspentech IP21) and interdependencies to SAP Manufacturing

  • Experience with TrakSYS is an advantage

  • Passionate for Manufacturing, enjoying driving improvements on the shopfloor

  • Experience in Project Portfolio / Lifecycle Management

  • Experience working with external vendors and managing virtual teams internationally
