TITLE: Information Technology System Administrator III

JOB LOCATION: 301 West 11th St., Wilmington, DE, 19801.

DESCRIPTION : Contribute to Enterprise Data Technology team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining multiple data platforms systems and dashboards to transform enterprise data from source systems to downstream consumers; develop analytical tools, dashboards and reports for executives and analysts for forecasting, banking regulatory agencies, marketing areas, crime prevention, banking operations, and analyses of company performance; discover and debug issues in Informatica products and work with Informatica vendor to fix said issues; maintain and update operating systems patches; perform administration, installation, configuration, integration, and maintenance of all Informatica software products, including Power Center, Big Data Management, and Data Quality; define and implement best practices, and design patterns using Informatica BDM, Proactive Monitoring, Data Exchange, Data Transformation, Data Masking, Data Quality, and Power Exchange; create Informatica user groups, maintain all user accounts, and control accessibility; provide support for Informatica process scheduling and automation; provide migration of code from Development, QA, and Production to support ETL, Data Integration, and Enterprise Data Warehouse applications; set up user files and system accounts, manage tool installations, upgrade and software patches and releases, and work with other teams to define and implement systems alerts, notifications, configuration parameters, performance, and capacity; assist with performance issues related to platform as well establish connectivity to multiple source systems, including traditional and Exadata Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata, including flat files consumption; establish SFTP setup to send and receive files from different systems or vendors; prepare technical documents and communicate technical architectures with all user groups; collaborate with vendors on product issues, bug fixes, patches, and support Operating System, Database, and software upgrades; conduct problem identification, system architecture definition, and hardware/software specification, and design, implement, test, train, and deploy solutions; gather information from customers where necessary and recommend resolutions; verify performance environment and apply monthly patches and product bug fixes; support DR systems for semiannual/annual testing; and write and execute multiple DML queries to fetch metadata statistics based on requirements. Telecommuting permitted up to 60% of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and Six (6) years of experience using Informatica tools including Power Center, Big Data Management, and Data Quality for database and data platform development; using SQL to run queries in Oracle and SQL Server; of which three (3) years of experience includes working in Unix environments and using scheduling tools including CA Automic, CA7, and CRON.
