The Shelter Solutions Business, part of DuPont Water & Protection, is comprised by the Corian® Design and Performance Building Solutions businesses. The business delivers solutions for both the interior and exterior of a building that enhance the performance and beautification of shelters across the globe. The Shelter Solutions business combines multiple globally recognized brands under one business – Great Stuff™, Great Stuff Pro™, Froth-Pak™, Styrofoam™, Tyvek®, Corian® Design, and others. A core business segment of the Shelter Solutions business, the Shelter Solutions Home Improvement Business sells its products to North American retailers such as The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards, Ace Hardware, and amazon.com (amongst many others). These retailers, in turn, sell to the ultimate end users – DIY Homeowners and Professional Contractors. The Brand & Marketing Communications Leader is responsible for devising, defining, and activating the strategies for the brands for which the Home Improvement team is responsible (Great Stuff™, Great Stuff Pro™, Froth-Pak.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for global brand strategies (and all associated execution) for key brands for which the Home Improvement Team is responsible (Great Stuff™, Great Stuff Pro™, Froth-Pak™) – includes marketing campaign development and execution, brand book, brand guidelines, packaging guidelines, branding research & development, and PR strategy development/execution.

  • Responsible for maintaining our brand's image, with a focus on the aesthetic aspects of marketing to establish consistent branding. Maintaining Brand Guidelines to ensure consistency of logos, color schemes, fonts, and the general style of content used across platforms.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of brand management strategies to improve our end-user's perception of the brand.

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving marketing elements such as logos, advertising media, and messaging including Licensee partners to ensure consistency and a positive brand image across all marketing efforts.

  • Responsible for the development of the creative including visual and written expression of the brand. Collaborate with New Product Development (NPD), and Product and Channel Leaders to create content including marketing copy, ads, photography, and videos aligned to the marketing strategies to ensure that marketing material remains consistent across all platforms and aligns with the brand's values and objectives.

  • Able to translate business programs into robust integrated communication plans. Executes, tracks, and optimizes activities to optimize the performance of campaigns.

  • Builds, evolves and leverages the Home Improvement brands to support the generation of royalty-bearing revenue streams and creates connectivity that drives end-user and retail partner (B2B2C) awareness, preference, and loyalty.

  • Identifies strategic, growth-enabling brand, marketing, and audience research (including LTV, brand elasticity, end-user sentiment, brand valuation, etc.); analyzes and leverages critical themes and key findings to evolve and accelerate our holistic brand and marketing strategies, category selection, and decision-making.

  • Collaborates with the Product and Channel Marketing Leader and Digital marketing leader to support critical needs for successful brick-and-mortar and e-commerce activation to accelerate sales growth.

  • Responsible for managing relationships and utilization of Agency partners.

  • Demonstrates deep curiosity to discover, learn, and challenge conventional “innovation thinking,” leveraging a proven ability to toggle between incremental and breakthrough thinking.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of three years of brand, marketing, digital marketing, communications, and creative development experience in a B2B2C environment

  • Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking – big picture thinker that can link capabilities to action.

  • Demonstrated learning agility and project management skills.

  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization with a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize key priorities to meet deadlines and achieve expected results.

Preferred:

  • Experience in construction, hardware, and retail home improvement

  • Proven ability to partner and guide work with agency partners and vendors.

  • Demonstrated B2C brand management skill set and business acumen.

  • Capability to transform observations and insights into new, actionable concepts.
