PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply for highway permits from various municipalities for proposed NFG construction projects. Draw sketches utilizing AutoCAD for permit submissions. Use PMWeb to submit and track permit applications. Apply for PRC# as required from NYSDOL website. Provide permit status updates and respond to inquiries from Operations and Engineering staff. Research and provide information from engineering records. Perform various department work as directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with AutoCAD. Outstanding PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office proficiency, including Microsoft Excel. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to successfully work independently, as well as within a team environment. Exceptional time management, work ethic, and multi-tasking abilities. Must be available to work Monday Friday 7:45am 4:15pm (flexible).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2- or 4-year degree in a technical field with Civil Engineering background. Experience with Civil Engineering drafting and design. Experience with pipeline utilities design, construction, or inspection.
