Bio-Techne Service Sales Specialist in Wiesbaden, Germany

This position will hold responsibility for nurturing and supporting existing business throughout EMEA for the Bio-Techne Portfolio. In this position you will be expected to maintain an extremely high level of customer and market knowledge.

Mission Critical Duties:

Develop and Nurture Existing Business:

• Maintain and drive new instrument service revenue for the Bio-Techne Install base throughout EMEA.

• Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams EMEA, lead generation and marketing to ensure a cohesive team for maximum customer support.

• Act in a commercially savvy way to unlock new business opportunities through existing customers as well as live interactive web chats.

• Communicating effectively with the field team and keeping them updated on Contract status and Service orders

Responsibilities:

• Work with our existing customers to support their continued purchase of instrument service contracts. Generate appropriate quotes and drives service sales through a positive and collaborative relationship

• Ensuring SFDC database is regularly updated, and all information logged accordingly.

• Identify and deploy expiring contract data

• Use a selection of channels to support and develop new/existing business opportunities, including live in bound enquiries via the website, outbound cold calls, in bound/out bound emails and social media.

• Work closely with Marketing, Technical and Account Managers to execute bespoke projects to drive revenue.

• Identifying business growth opportunities in collaboration with Account Management team

• generate Service repair quotes and work close with the customer and FSE until PO has been received

Communication

Adaptability and strong communication skills are essential in an environment where customers’ expectations are constantly evolving.

Ability to communicate effectively with a multi nationality team in English.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• An understanding of the Life Science Market

• Fluent in English. Second Language like French or German is a plus

• Demonstrable experience of working within a customer care/sales environment with a strong commercial focus.

• Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment.

• Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)

• Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.
