POSITION SUMMARY

Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer networks and associated assemblies. Provides operational monitoring, support, analysis and systems administration of Windows/Linux servers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Support all personal computers and related peripherals in a professional manner.
  • Make security recommendations, raising any security concerns or observed behaviors and implementing security enhancements as deemed by security team.
  • Participate in IT cross-functional teams to create corporate wide solutions in order to improve Integras overall performance, resiliency and cross-site functionality.
  • Perform nightly backups and verifies success and failure of these backups.
  • Support server environment by working with VMware, Hypervisor along with Server Operating Systems and hardware by troubleshooting issues, upgrading when necessary, and monitoring for potential issues.
  • Determine requirements of infrastructure upgrades and work with team to validate/procure and install new or updated hardware/software solutions within the environment.
  • Provide support for users in a professional and superior level of customer support for any network, account, or PC issue by taking the following actions:
    1. Providing prompt contact with user requesting support and keeping user informed of resolution progress.
    2. Educate users on computer security topics as opportunities are available.
    3. Research and find the best solution to meet the users needs.
    4. Communicate resolution progress and solutions throughout the request.
  • Support management of cloud environments.
  • Establish user accounts and environments for new users. Additionally, disable and/or remove accounts for employees who have terminated.
  • Create/Modify GPO Policies and utilize PowerShell scripts as needed.
  • Provide IT support for all systems in production areas including support for printers, networking, and all computers/workstations.
  • Maintain software license audits as required by QDM documentation.
  • Maintain software patches on servers, computers, and other IT equipment and research and address IT security vulnerabilities in a manner that protects the companys assets but allows users to remain productive.
  • Proactively monitor network and server infrastructure and making corrections to alleviate potential downtime.
  • Document and maintain documentation regarding network and system configuration including but not limited to: backups, disaster recovery, IP configuration, user groups, software licenses, and any IT related information requiring documentation.
  • Provide on-call support as needed.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
