Defense Logistics Agency Human Resources Specialist in Whitehall, Ohio

Responsibilities Serves as Senior Human Resources Advisor to the Supervisory Production Manager of Defense Logistics Agency, Human Resources Operations, Department of Defense Customers (DHRO-DD). Responsible for planning and managing the staffing training program for the organization. Provides technical and administrative oversight of production management of HR services in the following areas: classification production, recruitment and placement production, and RPA processing production. Monitors and evaluates metrics such as those for time to fill (TTF), pay actions timeliness, and classification and disciplinary actions. Provides in-depth analysis on reports to ensure timely and accurate completion of processing of personnel actions, time to hire and classification metrics, and overall DHRO-DD production quality. Determines impact of new or modified guidance upon DHRO-DD production programs and resources and consolidates recommended changes, expansion and/or revision proposals for approval. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Human Resources Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on metrics to ensure timely and accurate completion and quality of production actions. Providing technical advice in the full range of staffing actions. Utilizing knowledge of Human Resources operational programs, processes and systems, and seasoned consultative skills to provide organization-wide advisory services. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
