Westchester Jewish Community Services Program Manager - Center Lane in White Plains, New York
Overview:
WJCS is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead Center Lane—the only community program in Westchester County dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults ages 13-21. Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director of Children, Youth, and Family Services, the Program Manager plays a key leadership role in shaping a transformative experience through innovative programming, clinical support, and community engagement, while cultivating an inclusive, affirming community. The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$78,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide clinical support through individual therapeutic sessions with 8–10 clients during the academic year, using evidence-based practices to support mental health and emotional well-being.
Conduct family therapy sessions and collateral meetings to foster healthier communication and stronger relationships.
Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed to ensure client safety.
Lead, supervise, and support a dedicated team—including the Program Coordinator, interns, and volunteers—to implement support groups, drop-in sessions, and events across Westchester County.
Represent Center Lane and WJCS on local committees, coalitions, and community initiatives.
Identify and design innovative program components to enhance service offerings and meet evolving community needs.
Conduct comprehensive, community-based educational initiatives, training sessions, and outreach programs to raise awareness and promote services.
Contribute to grant writing and fundraising initiatives to secure resources necessary for program sustainability and growth.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work and current NYS licensure (LMSW or LCSW required).
Experience supervising staff, interns, or volunteers in a community or clinical setting.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders and strong knowledge of local resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with web-based platforms and social media.
Reliable transportation to travel to satellite sites, events, and presentations throughout the county.
