Our client in the Westchester County area has an opening for an Accounting Manager on a part-time basis. The Accounting Manager will be mainly responsible for supporting the Controller in overseeing Fixed Assets, Financial Statements, and other accounting tasks. This role will initially be on-site but may transition to a hybrid format for a 3-month period.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Efficiently process journal entries as part of the company's financial operations

• Manage and maintain the Fixed Assets register with precision

• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring all necessary steps are completed in a timely manner

• Carry out bank reconciliations to confirm the company's records are in line with the bank's records

• Utilize Sage Intacct software as part of the daily accounting operations

• Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and updated as required.
