Job Title: Blaster
Job Description
Join our team as a Blaster where you will be a crucial part of the paint prep team within our weld department. In this role, you will operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and reach trucks to move parts from the welding bay to the paint priming booth. Your tasks will include preparing each piece to be primed, operating a PBC Autoblast system for proper finishing, and preparing finishes for use in the booth by testing the viscosity. Additionally, you will handle all fabricated parts and manage inventory on paints, thinners, reducers, hardeners, and coal tar. You will also paint racks, trailers, fixtures, tables, pipelines, and elbows.

This is a fully on-site position in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Our work environment is both laid-back and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on independent work. The setting includes very loud noise levels due to heavy cranes and large machinery. Our weld shop, which is clean and organized, houses about 35 people, including welders, fabricators, and blasters. Working hours are typically from 6am-2:30pm Monday to Friday, with substantial overtime opportunities, often extending work hours from 5am-3:30pm.
