Our client, a leading innovator in the medical device industry, is seeking an Extrusion Process Technician to join their team. As an Extrusion Process Technician, you will be part of the Production Support Department, supporting the engineering and prototyping teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Extrusion Process Technician

Location: White Bear Lake, MN

Pay Range: $ 22-27/hr on W2 contract

What’s the Job?

• Operate extrusion lines to create prototypes/products per requests.

• Setup, tear down, and clean extrusion head assemblies and tooling.

• Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to process and design issues.

• Maintain and improve on current build tracking process and documentation.

• Use internal and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.

What’s Needed?

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 2-3 years of related experience.

• Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork and collaboration in a technically demanding environment.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technology/process.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

• Adaptability to changing and new asks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with equipment (extrusion or otherwise).

• Familiarity with extrusion processes.

• Experience in the medical device or other regulated industry.

• Experience working with polymers – particularly Pebax, Nylon, PEEK, Urethanes.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
