The successful candidate is a member of the Private Asset Operations team within MIM. As a Private Placement Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in executing the end-to-end process of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, organization skills, and a deep understanding of the private debt asset class.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute all aspects of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions, including documentation, due diligence, tracking, and end-to-end funding processes.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, clients, and issuers to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the investment lifecycle with the goal of settling the Private debt transaction.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation is in place.
Provide oversight for cash and position reconciliations.
Help lead projects to identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing best practices and process improvements where applicable.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
3-5 years of experience in investment operations, with a focus on private placements and infrastructure debt settlements and coordination.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated record of success in servicing institutional clients or funds
Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Experience with Aladdin, Kyriba, or similar tools for settling transactions
Capable of thriving in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Preferred:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
