Eaton Corporation Master Scheduler in Westminster, Maryland

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Master Scheduler. This is a hybrid work opportunity located at our Westminster, MD facility.

The Master Scheduler is responsible to develop a production schedule that considers both short-term (30/60/90 day schedules) and long-term SIOP Demands of the business, while taking into consideration internal and external capacity constraints. This individual will be the SIOP Champion, assessing external demand and total capacity over the 18-month SIOP time horizon, to achieve annual profit plan.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,300.00-$100,000.00 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

  • Integrating the booking forecast from Sales & Business Development for the Integrated Product Team (IPT); effectively balancing the Profit Plan, Forecast, and Backlog to create a demand plan monitoring the factory capacities, inventory & customer requirements; producing a master production schedule to control and pace both internal production and the external supply chain, and providing these analyses to the monthly SIOP process.

  • Defining and implementing balanced production plans and leveled schedules.

  • Champion the SIOP process, with a focus on 18-month demand, 12-month Revenue, and six (6) month internal capacity.

  • Assess Revenue Risks and Opportunities on a monthly cadence.

  • Conduct available to promise analysis and establish scheduled ship dates on all customer orders.

  • Collaborate with Operations and Procurement for recovery plans, when necessary.

  • Review the relevant customer commitments and performance metrics.

  • Loading the master production schedule and driving MRP.

  • Ensuring alignment between MPS and sales order/contract requirements.

  • Monitor Schedule Attainment through the On Time to Build KPI.

  • Efficiently balancing customer demand, capacity and inventory through the optimization and deployment of a master production schedule.

  • Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles

  • Actively promote and enforce adherence to S|H|E rules and procedures

  • Promote and facilitate incident and near miss reporting

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree + 5 years of experience in a supply chain and/or plant operations position within manufacturing OR a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of three (3) years work experience as a planner, capacity planner, scheduler, and/or in plant operations within a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum three (3) years experience working in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee or Refugee.

  • No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of Westminster, MD will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations and/or Supply Chain management

  • Master scheduling experience

  • Experience with SIOP/SIOP planning

  • Project management experience

  • Oracle ERP experience

  • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification (American production inventory control society; Certified purchasing and inventory management; Certified supply chain professional)

  • Experience with Aerospace industry
