The Human Resources Manager will join a growing site at our Westminster, Colorado location. This role will provide strategic support and collaboration with our site leadership team to align HR initiatives with business objectives, foster employee engagement, and cultivate a high-performance culture. You will be instrumental in managing various HR functions to ensure our people practices enhance operational efficiency and support our growth initiatives.

In partnership with our HR and Talent Acquisition teams, you will be responsible for overseeing staffing and onboarding, managing compensation and benefits, addressing employee relations, facilitating training and development, supporting HR policy development and application, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on HR management and administration, outstanding communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with client managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support hiring plans and ensure integrity of the hiring process and standards. Consult with hiring managers and recruiters ensuring identification of qualified candidates that align with our growing teams. Collaborate with HR leadership and hiring manager to determine offers and support candidate negotiations. Manage and conduct new hire onboarding and integration into functional/project teams. Ensure engagement of the organization to onboarding of new teammates. Promote site alignment with company culture and overall company vision, mission and values. Partner with HR and site leadership to incorporate employee feedback and promote communication across the site and within client groups. Support employee communications through various avenues such as site level all-hands meetings, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, etc. Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish positive relationships and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation. Develop and promote employee recognition programs and engagement with management. Lead Talent Management review processes ensuring identified plans and actions are implemented. Report on progress and make recommendations for enhancements. Advise leaders on talent matters, ensuring the business has the right people in the right roles while planning for future talent needs as the organization continues to scale. Lead and/or support development of HR policies and practices for a multi-site/state organization, ensuring HR policies and practices are compliant with local, state, and federal laws. Effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, and changes to all levels of the organization. Coach and train managers in their communication, feedback, and interaction skills and responsibilities to support their direct reports. Monitor and advise managers and supervisors on progressive discipline; oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations if needed. Manage and guide the review and approval process for employment terminations Partner with HR and client groups to lead annual performance management and compensation planning processes, ensuring a pay for performance strategy. Support benefits adminis ration including education, problem resolution, answering employee questions, escalating issues, etc. Manage leave administration at a site level or for assigned client groups. Coordinate with HR staff to implement changes in employee status, etc. Lead or participate in site Safety Committee, ensuring compliance to applicable environmental, health and safety regulations. Manage filing and administration of workers compensation claims. Collaborate with HR leadership to develop, prepare and report critical metrics, trends, and updates to inform broader HR strategies and effectiveness. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to improve efficiency of the Human Resources department. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Organizational Development. Master's is preferred. Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience to include recruitment, employee onboarding and engagement, benefits, compliance, compensation, employee relations, training & development, and health & safety. Experience supporting high growth organizations and client groups from Engineering to Manufacturing. Multi-state, multi-site experience is highly desired. Strong coaching and mentoring skills. Conflict management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without authority, when necessary. Skilled in managing difficult/emotional situations. Demonstrated knowledge of EEO requirements for government contractors and experience with applicant tracking requirements and processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail with good follow-up skills. Ability to professionally handle confidential material and information, maintain discretion and establish a high degree of trust across the organization.
