Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Sr. Specialist, Software Development and Engineering (ref. Code 2025-108412 in Westlake, TX.

Duties: Responsible for building Schwab's future trading platform and will design, build, and deploy software to support all of Schwabs trading. Job duties include delivery of high throughput, low latency solutions. Will develop services-based software using cloud platforms, such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and other equivalent technologies. Develop and design applications using enterprise technologies such as C#, .NET, and .NET core. Participate in test driven development using Junit, EasyMock, etc. Manage and support database systems, using SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis. The role will be part of one of the Sprint based Agile teams that is currently playing a dual role of supporting the existing Trading platform while building out to-be architecture.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and 36 months of related experience. Alternatively, Bachelor's degree and 60 months progressive, post-Bachelors related experience. Related skills may be required.
