Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Sr. Manager, Software Development and Engineering Senior (ref. Code 2025-108411 in Westlake, TX.
Duties: Transform design ideas and requirements into functioning code by applying established standards and best practices. Work on modernizing legacy processes and methodologies to open source distributed technologies/frameworks to execute on cloud and IaaS platforms. Design solutions to complex business problems using SOLID principles and enterprise best practices and policies. Design and Implement Cloud Services (REST/JSON) adopting OpenAPI standards and established best practices. Collaborate with BSAs, Architect/Leads, and development team in implementing solutions. Design and implement highly scalable and efficient event-based systems that facilitate real-time cost basis data refreshes. Analyze and implement integrations that facilitate the migration of data through APIs and batch to the new cost basis engine. Implement APIs that strictly adhere with firmwide security policies thus enabling data transfers to be more secured. Implement Unit and Integration test suite, as well as support test automation to deliver reliable bug free code.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelors related experience. Related skills may be required.
