Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Sr Manager, Software Development and Engineering Senior (ref. Code 2025-108413 in Westlake, TX.
Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications. Collaborate with UX, Product and Middle layer team to define architecture of the mobile solutions. Contribute and maintain the in house Mars Framework for the mobile application. Ensure the performance, reliability, and functionality of the applications on a range of devices and operating systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Debug and troubleshoot issues in the applications. Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in the Android ecosystem. Work with large codebases and complex software systems. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Contribute to the design and architecture of the applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwabs internal approach to workplace flexibility. .
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and 48 months of experience in a related occupation.. Related skills may be required.
