Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Sr. Manager, Software Development and Engineering Senior (ref. Code 2025-108439 in Westlake, TX.
Duties: Develop applications and jobs with programming languages such as Java, Cobol, Ezytrieve, CICS, JCL, DB2 Stored Procedures. Develop modernized legacy mainframe processes and methods to distributed and cloud platforms. Develop design ideas and requirements into functioning code, through the application of established standards and best practices. Develop and maintain databases using DB2, Datacom, MongoDb, Oracle and SQL Server. Implement Unit and Integration test suite, as well as support test automation. Collaborate with BSAs, Architect/Leads and development team in implementing solutions and provide support with production issues. Develop and maintain messaging exchanges using MQ Appliance, RabbitMQ, and IBM MQ.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelors experience in a related occupation. Related skills may be required.
