Our client is seeking a Senior C++ Developer. This role will support a startup app. As a member of the team, you will work with teams with a diverse set of skills across product, growth, service, and leadership organizations to devise measurement strategy and deliver insights from diverse data sets.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $63 - $73 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Growing our agile development culture through use of excellent engineering skills and a deep knowledge of industry standard methodologies
Lead with strong engineering standard methodologies when it comes design patterns, bringing to bear CI/CD pipelines, test automation and application performance
Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end experience
Owns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results
Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code
Passionate and results oriented technical leader
Keenly interested in learning new technologies and their adoption
Experience Requirements:
10+ years of professional C++ Development experience with at least 3+ of those on UNIX systems.
Design, develop and deploy applications with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability.
Deep knowledge of C++ with the latest standards, UNIX OS internals, CPU architecture, and networking hardware and protocols.
Working knowledge of Golang and kdb+/q will be added advantage
Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading business, previous experience in Smart Order Router, Market Data or Order Management Systems development is desirable, but not required
Design, develop and maintain test cases for your application
Ability to investigate, isolate, and tackle technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies
Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation
Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core
Superb communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's or above in Computer Science or related field
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
