Air National Guard Units LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER in Westhampton Beach, New York

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, Position Description Number D2169P01 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. This is an Indefinite position with the possibility to convert to Permanent. Responsibilities As a Logistics Management Officer, GS-0346-12, you will serve as the Operations Officer of the Logistics Readiness Squadron/Flight. Functions as the technical advisor as well as the supervisor of logistics readiness operations including but not limited to: readiness; logistics planning; resource management; supply and transportation support; procedures and systems; etc. Provides training to unit members in the accomplishment of the tasks of the squadron/flight/mission. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Officer Only GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Must have experience providing supervision, leadership, comprehensive planning of financial and day-to-day and long-term programs within the Logistics Readiness activity in order to ensure sustained readiness support of ANG organizations. Must have experience planning, organizing, and maintaining oversight of the activities of the Logistics Readiness Squadron/flight, ensuring the planning efforts and work products and services of all the squadron/flight functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Must have experience that involves the direction, development, or performance of logistical management functions in support of mission, weapon systems, etc. Education Education requirements - Not applicable for this position Additional Information Additional Conditions of Employment: -The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment.
