About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

  • 14-bay emergency department

  • 10-bay observation unit

  • 30 acute inpatient beds

  • 4 operating rooms

  • Level 1 cardiac capability

  • Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing

  • Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

  • Primary Care, Neurology

  • Cardiology

  • Vascular

  • Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the Unit:

Mount Carmel Dublin Pharmacy Department provides critical support in the care of our patients. The department operates 16 hours a day providing timely delivery of medications, optimization of dispensing technology, and other patient needs. Pharmacists within the department serve as the medication experts on the multidisciplinary team, providing expert medication management services to patients, assisting with drug information questions, and response to all emergency responses. Pharmacists are supported by pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, and medication historians to meet the needs of the patients we serve. We envision a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on exceptional patient experience and evidence-based care.

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the Manager of Pharmacy Services, serves as the first level manager to plan, organize, staff, direct and ensure the provision of pharmaceutical care in collaboration with all members of the healthcare team. Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provides coaching, direction, support and supervision for pharmacist, technical, and support staff.

  • Collaborates with Pharmacy staff, other healthcare team members and within the Organization to develop goals and objectives, performance targets and strategic and business plans as appropriate for areas of responsibility

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy required.

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio

  • Completion of a Pharmacy Residency training program or two years of practical, hands-on experience as a pharmacist in an organized health system pharmacy operation is required.
