Position Overview The Asphalt Materials Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistent supply of materials to support asphalt plant production while optimizing logistics and maintaining efficiency in material movement. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of aggregates to asphalt plants to support production needs.
• Monitor and optimize asphalt plant material inventory levels to prevent shortages and overages.
• Partner internally and externally to manage acquisition, processing, transportation and stockpiling of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) across Shelly Southern's market.
• Collaborate with asphalt plant operations, sales and QC teams to ensure customer service and product quality needs are met, and daily production schedules are aligned with plant capabilities and capacities.
• Review material inventory reports, support the periodic material inventory review process.
• Conduct analytical reviews of long-term schedules (internal/external) to develop demand forecasts for HMA inputs.
• Utilize strong analytical and forecasting abilities to ensure accurate demand planning and scheduling.
• Leverage technology to develop and automate feedback reports for continuous improvement.
• Provide support to asphalt plants to ensure optimum stock-yard conditions are maintained.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations affecting asphalt plant production, safety environmental, state, federal, and company policies; ensure observance of such regulations; and ensure compliance with all regulations and permit conditions.
