Long Products Service Technician
A Service Technician will provide assistance in the areas of installation, preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment on-site and on Inductotherm Corp. large capital equipment at customer’s plant site or related designated areas.
Education:
BSEE or BSME preferred or equivalent degree with 3 years’ hands on experience.
Essential Functions:
Have good math - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
Familiar with electricity & test equipment and able to use voltmeter and o-scope.
Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
Able to work independently and exercise good judgment with no direct supervision.
Identify and resolve issues that arise.
Ability to document a job summary report upon completion.
Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsible for handling and caring of equipment and tools.
Able to interact with all levels of management.
Required to always maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Able to travel, as required.
Must be fluent in English - both spoken and written.
Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions:
· High voltage/power experience.
· Able to read mechanical, hydraulic and water prints.

Able to work in extreme conditions, ie: hot, cold, dirty environment.
