Eurofins Virology Laboratory Technical Support Specialist in West Point, Pennsylvania

Provide technical oversight of Virology quality control assays
General lab duties (cleaning, stocking, cold room 5S, etc.)
Technical writing
Deviation management
Investigate laboratory deviations and errors to determine root cause and ensure Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) are implemented
Review data audits
Author reports as needed
Ensure investigations adhere to the compliance-driven timeline
Qualification and Validation studies
Provide analytical change management support for Virology testing labs
Ensure compliance in the laboratory in accordance with cGMPs, and GLPs, regulation, and policies/procedures
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
BS in a scientific concentration with 1+ years of experience OR MS with graduate research experience or 6 months+ experience
Aseptic laboratory technique experience
Experience Troubleshooting Laboratory Deviations
Technical writing experience
Experience with LIMS and Electronic laboratory notebooks
Ability to work in a fast paced team-oriented setting
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies (GMP knowledge a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Cell culture, tissue culture adventitious agent testing experience
Position is first shift, full-time Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
