The Nurse Residency program continues Ozarks Healthcare's mission, vision, and values to provide superior nursing development to achieve the program goals. - Transition from the entry-level advanced beginner to competent nurse -Develop effective decision-making skills related to clinical judgment and performance -Provide safe patient care -Strengthen commitment to nursing as a profession -Incorporate evidence-based science into practice Eligibility -Completion of LPN or RN program within the last 6 months -Current RN license preferred or scheduled with successful completion of NCLEX within 90 days -Commitment to the residency program including participating in general and specialized learning experiences, finishing activities related to the program and completing evaluations of the program, preceptors and facilitators -Commitment to Ozarks Healthcare for one year
