Description
Our client is in the the residential real estate acquisition and investment sector, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, and are in search of a Director of Operations. The appointed individual will be instrumental in driving our business development and operational strategies, focusing on home financing, property acquisition, construction, and renovation.
Responsibilities:
• Implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of project timelines, reduce costs, and heighten profitability.
• Direct the operations on a daily basis, which encompass property acquisition, financing, construction, and renovation.
• Mentor, guide, and foster a high performance and collaborative environment among a team of professionals across a variety of disciplines.
• Pinpoint and seize new opportunities to enlarge the company’s portfolio and augment revenue.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance related to property acquisition and development.
• Cultivate and preserve robust relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Guarantee that all projects are in compliance with state and local regulations, including permits and licensing.
• Monitor key performance indicators and deliver regular reports to executive leadership.
Requirements • Proven experience in residential construction, residential homes, and residential real estate
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of and experience in residential mortgage lending
• Familiarity with real estate title and title searches
• Proven track record in business development
• Experience in operations management at a senior level
• Demonstrated executive leadership qualities
• Proficiency in KPI reporting
• Familiarity with consumer marketing strategies
• Experience with renovation projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven record of strategic planning and business growth
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team.
