Description:

Evening Supervisor – Nurse Manager

Schedule: Every other weekend, Thursday–Sunday, 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Call Rotation Required | One Winter & One Summer Holiday Rotation

As a Nurse Manager – Evening Supervisor , you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional, person-centered care. Grounded in our core values of compassion, respect, and excellence, this leadership position empowers you to support and guide our nursing team in delivering high-quality clinical care while fostering an environment that prioritizes the dignity and well-being of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate care delivery, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses both medical and emotional needs.

  • Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care quality and resident outcomes.

  • Serve as a resource for staff, residents, and families, addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.

  • Participate in the call rotation as part of leadership responsibilities.

  • Work one designated winter holiday and one summer holiday per rotation schedule.

Requirements:

  1. Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

  2. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.

  3. Three years in Clinical practice, with one year in long-term care required.

  4. Acute care and supervisory experience preferred.

  5. Computer literacy strongly preferred.

  6. CPR certification.
