Description We are seeking a C# Software Engineer based in West Des Moines, Iowa, in the service industry. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves joining our maintenance team to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and address bugs in C# software applications to ensure software stability and performance

• Execute data querying and management using SQL

• Utilize Entity Framework for data access

• Deploy and manage applications using Azure DevOps

• Resolve user-reported software issues efficiently

• Document all changes and maintenance activities for record and review

• Collaborate closely with other engineers, quality assurance teams, and support teams to ensure software reliability and performance

• Use API Development, ASP.NET, and C# - Sharp skills in software development and maintenance processes. Requirements • Proficiency in API development is essential

• Must have strong knowledge and experience in ASP.NET

• Demonstrated expertise in C# is required

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus

• Experience with version control systems like Git is beneficial

• Knowledge of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL, is desirable
