Manager - Professional Education (Trauma, Extremities, &/or Craniomaxillofacial [TEC])
Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is currently recruiting for a Manager, Professional Education, Trauma, Extremities, &/or Craniomaxillofacial (TEC). This role will support the western and north central areas of the United States, specifically: Alaska, Hawaii, California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois.

The Manager of TEC Professional Education is responsible for the planning and execution of Professional Education programs for external healthcare customers nationally, and/or within their assigned region and assigned specialties. The Manager leads resources for the efficient and effective delivery of Professional Education programs. The education continuum may include didactic and practical programming, including use of technology programs (simulation, telementoring, etc.) to improve the learning experience. After collaborating and aligning priorities with Sales, Marketing and Medical Devices Professional Education leaders, the manager will develop detailed plans for the region, including budgets, facility, and faculty needs and project manage work to execute Professional Education programming. They must ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and HCC policies to include Advamed, Pharma, ACCME and other global legal and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
Design and drive safe & effective use of company products through the development and execution of education programming.
Lead and drive a comprehensive and innovative digital/social media strategy.
Assist with and/or lead the development of regional education plans for strategic priorities, target customers and focus procedures.
Lead end-to-end execution of Professional Education programs including facilitation, coordination, and management of faculty, learners, facilities, logistics, and vendors to ensure that programs operate efficiently, effectively, and compliantly.
Translate business requirements/strategy into Professional Education strategy and plans (regionally and nationally).
Acquire and translate customer insights into the broader organization as it relates to unmet needs and future educational and product offerings.
Understand external marketplace including competitor offerings, competitor strategies, and changing partners; and apply that knowledge to craft Professional Education programming and keep abreast of education/clinical trends.
Facilitate and manage key strategic relationships with faculty, facilities, and third-party vendors.
Lead Professional Education projects; develop measurable project plans with clear objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and results.
Understand and apply existing and new technology to effectively reach multiple stakeholders to engage and reinforce key learning concepts throughout the education continuum. Optimize the technology application for the most effective and efficient approach.
Ensure all content is copy approved and compliant throughout its lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 4 years in Orthopedic Medical Device (Sales, Marketing or equivalent clinical, customer-facing (surgeon) experience.
Minimum of 4 years of clinical expertise in Trauma, Extremities, Thoracic or Craniomaxillofacial surgery
Must be able to travel 55-60% of the time.
Must be within 45 min of a major airport.
Preferred:
MBA
Minimum of 2 years’ experience building and/or delivering clinical training/professional education programs.
Strategy development and execution of digital and face-to-face programs, including social media campaigns
Other skills and abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective teamwork skills.
Ability to effectively manage projects with defined timelines and resources, achieving timely deliverables.
Ability to manage key relationships with healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
