Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Operations Manager in West Chester, OH. In this role, you will be managing the warehouse and logistics of a $26M fabrication location with 45 associates. You will direct all aspects of branch operations and have HR responsibilities for 10 associates while maintaining the great culture that has been created at the branch.

As an Operations Manager , you will:

Responsibilities

  • Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and tools

  • Drive safety, quality, and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives

  • Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operational results

  • Communicate, foster, and develop a first in safety and best associates’ culture

  • Ensure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and success

  • Handle inventory control in our warehouse

  • Interact with vendors to coordinate inventory returns

  • Manage Fleet/LYTX/Driver HOS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered

  • 2+ years management / leadership experience coupled with handling inventory / operational and safety tasks

  • Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirements

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to optimally respond to urgent situations

  • Must be process oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a team

  • A confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations

  • Strong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applications

Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $9,075.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
